Essential Marbella Magazine, Pilotless Air Taxis & Dutch Friends
It has been a busy week for Hannah & PJ and there is lots to report on in this week’s episode.
Some of the highlights include some great news issued by the Junta de Andalucia about the filling of swimming pools and the fact that from 1st June both private and communal pools will be allowed to be filled, and the water usage restrictions on private households will also be lifted.
They also mention the new pilotless drones that will be tested in 2025 which ultimately will offer airport visitors and quick way to get from the airport to their destination. The article says that it would eventually take just 15 minutes from the airport to Marbella.
There was also some important news for residents that have not yet updated their green resident certificates to a TIE card, ahead of the new EU automated border system called the Entry and Exit System (EES).

On Tuesday a family friend of Hannah’s flew out to Spain, with a friend to visit. They took them for some authentic Spanish tapas at La Fria in San Pedro for their first night, which went done very well indeed (@cervecerilamasfria)
Out and about this week Hannah and PJ attended the 25th Anniversary party for Essential Marbella Magazine on Thursday night, the most established and popular magazine for the Costa del Sol @essentialmarbellamagazine. The party was at a wonderful venue called Air Roof Top Bar, which is part of the Breathe Marbella establishment in Puerto Banus @air_marbella. It was a fun night with some great entertainment courtesy of @divafeverspain, a duo made up of Melissa Carver and Toni Leigha. There was also an amazing 25th Anniversary cake surrounded by handmade chocolates supplied by the Mayan Monkey Chocolate Factory in Mijas @mayanmonkey
On Friday night Hannah & PJ took their Dutch friends to La Sala Banus for a lovely meal on the terrace before heading inside to the live lounge to see Diva Fever Spain again, which is now bordering on them being official groupies! @lasalabanus
Finally, they talk about their trip to Mijas Pueblo where the Sabor a Malaga happened to be. It is where local producers come together to showcase their products such as olive oils, cheese and even wines @saboramalaga
